Sustainable Eco-friendly Packaging
Our environmental footprint is extremely important to us. This why we use sustainable, eco-friendly packaging for all our Natural Skincare and Home Fragrance.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
At Hortuly, all of our natural skincare and home fragrance is packaged using sustainable, eco-friendly, recyclable and reusable materials. We use glass bottles and jars and aluminium lids with BPA free lining across all our collections.
We choose these materials because they’re among the most sustainable available. You can recycle them repeatedly – and you can also reuse and upcycle the bottles, jars and lids at home.
All plastic-free – we do not use any plastic bottles or containers in our product ranges.
Our packaging is also carefully designed to be functional and minimal, helping to reduce unnecessary waste and lessen our environmental impact.
Functional
The amber colour of our glass bottles helps to protect the natural oils in our products from light, helping our products last longer, naturally. Glass packaging also has the advantage of being non-toxic and impermeable, which is especially important for our essential oils and botanical blends.
Minimal
We believe that less is more, so we decided not to package any of our products in presentation boxes. Yes, they would look lovely, but what happens to that box as soon as you get it home?
Plastic Free
Our cardboard shipping boxes are fully recyclable while also being made of recycled materials. We use paper Hive wrap as well as paper bubble wrap to protect your items, rather than using unrecyclable plastic bubble wrap.
Our packaging chips made from maize starch which are fully biodegradable and compostable, and we also use paper tape to seal your parcels securely.
